Founded in 1973 as a crisis line for pregnant women, Pregnancy and Family Support Services Inc. is committed to offering direct, short & long-term, quality support, resources and counseling to women, pregnant women, men, children and family units seeking help.
Over the years, the agency has established a significant presence in the inner city. We serve diverse families with multiple needs from four locations. We also operate a thrift shop which offers an important service to the community. All revenue generated by the shop goes directly into agency programs and services. Volunteer opportunities are also available for both women and men.
Incorporated as a non-profit organization, the agency is supported through private donations: The United Way, Manitoba Child Day Care, Family Resource Programs, and through other organized community groups, corporations, private donors and foundations.
